About us
The Vietnamese Student Association of Minnesota (VSAM) is a student-led organization dedicated to celebrating and sharing Vietnamese culture, history, and traditions while fostering a strong sense of community among students. Founded in 1976 at the University of Minnesota, VSAM provides opportunities for cultural engagement, leadership development, and meaningful connections through social events, community service, and signature programs such as its annual Tết celebrations. Through collaboration with students, alumni, and local communities, VSAM works to promote cultural awareness and create a welcoming environment for all.
